"Believe!" is a musical that covers the time of Christ's Passion Week as witnessed through the eyes of John. Donna Anami and I wrote "Believe!" with the same motivation that caused John to write his Gospel, we want people to know and believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
The musical begins when Jesus and the disciples pay a visit to Mary and Martha after their brother, Lazarus had died and been buried. If you are familiar with the story, Jesus went to the tomb of His friend and raised him from the dead! Can you imagine the shock that raised the hair on the backs of witnesses as Jesus cried out, "Lazarus, come forth!"
In addition to the Lazarus scene "Believe!" covers the following events with a filmed narration, live singing and acting. The Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, The Garden of Gethsemane, Trial before Pilate, Crucifixion, Resurrection, Appearance to the Disciples, Restoration of Peter, A Celebration. The impact of a live show covering the most important story of all time is electrifying!
It is my hope and prayer that the destiny of many lives will be changed by the impact of "Believe!"
